After gaining fame as the drummer for Nirvana, Dave Grohl became a superstar as the leader of Foo Fighters. While playing guitar and singing with Foo Fighters is his main job, you can also find Dave channeling his musical genius throughout the world of rock. Dave is one for the chillest, down to earth rock stars out there.

As long as I can remember art has been a major part of my life. Art frees the mind and soul, I get great joy in seeing how my work touches and can inspire others. At a young age I can vaguely remember comparing my drawings with other kids and realizing that mine were different. My parents encouraged me to seek out various styles and types of art. When I was 13, I was the only kid in a life drawing class at night. I learned how fabric drapes on the human body, then we moved to drawing nude models. At 17, I attended Rhode Island School of Designs summer session, this experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of mediums and styles. I tried everything from printmaking to painting.
